She has taught sociology, higher education administration, and management. Blanshan graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with an undergraduate degree in sociology and received her master’s and Ph.D. from The Ohio State University in sociology. Blanshan has expertise in higher education administration, leadership and management, and complex organizations.
