Scott W. Weimer is an assistant director of program development and leader of the business development team for Continuing and Professional Education at Virginia Tech. For the last 6 years, Scott has been involved in the development, management, and implementation, of non-credit, credit, and technical assistance outreach programs, for Tech’s nationally ranked colleges of Business, Engineering, and Architecture and Urban Studies. Prior to joining the university, Scott was an account representative and sales/marketing coordinator for VTLS Inc., a software and services company serving the library automation industry. While operating in that role, Scott was part of the team responsible for product development, marketing, and sales, of archival imaging and digital library products. Scott has a bachelor of arts and master of business administration from Virginia Tech, and is currently completing his PhD in public administration and public affairs.
