Suzanne Forsyth

Suzanne Forsyth is nationally known in the field of human resources and organizational development. She is a consultant, lecturer, and writer on workplace issues. She is widely recognized for significant contributions to human resources and higher education as well as women’s programs. She has served as president and treasurer of the National Association for Women in Education; received the professional of the year award from the Human Resources Association of the National Capital Area (HRA-NCA); and served on the national advisory board of Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association (TIAA-CREF). She is past president of the Human Resources Association of the National Capital Area. Forsyth served as vice president of human resources at the American Council on Education for more than 24 years. During her tenure there, she served as executive secretary of the Washington Higher Education Secretariat and developed a comprehensive health insurance program for the higher education associations under a Multiple Employer Trust. Forsyth’s consulting practice is in the areas of organizational planning, retreat facilitation, human resources program assessment and development, change management, compensation strategies, executive search and consultation, workplace communications, professional development programs, executive coaching, Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) training, outplacement counseling, and quality of workplace studies.
