Mary E. Gallo, Ph.D.

Mary E. Gallo is a visiting assistant professor in the Organizational Behavior and Leadership Studies Department at the University of San Francisco. Gallo received a doctorate in education in organization and leadership from the University of San Francisco. She served as director of human resources and organizational development for E & J Gallo Winery prior to entering into higher education. She was responsible for training and development programs worldwide for over 4,000 employees and the entire distribution network globally. In addition to her professional experience, Gallo serves on the board of the Children’s Crisis Center and the Daughter’s of Charity Foundation Board. She also chairs the Leadership Council at the University of San Francisco. Her research interests include international service learning in higher education, women and leadership, career development, and narrative identity.
