Kathleen Snyder, Ph.D.

Kathleen Snyder is director of curriculum development for the Jesuit Distance Education Network (JesuitNET), which is a part of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU). In 2000, Kathleen received her Ph.D. in education from New York University and in 2002 accepted a position at the AJCU. In her role with JesuitNET, Snyder collaborates with administrators and faculty at 28 Jesuit universities in the U.S. on the design of online graduate degree programs that serve the needs of students nationally and internationally. She is also involved in initiatives that introduce Jesuit higher education to underserved populations. Since joining JesuitNET, she has worked with over 400 faculty and administrators at Jesuit schools in the U.S. and Latin America. Snyder has been a visiting professor at the University of San Francisco and is an adjunct professor at Gonzaga University in the Organizational Leadership program. Prior to working with the AJCU, Kathleen had a 20-year career with IBM.
