Carlota Ocampo is associate dean of the College of Arts & Sciences at Trinity Washington University, D.C., where she also holds the position of tenured associate professor of psychology and human relations. She received a Ph.D. in neuropsychology from Howard University in 1997.
Her research and teaching interests encompass cultural diversity, psychology of oppression, and health psychology. Her current educational publications focus on pedagogical reform with the changing U.S. college population, and her psychological publications explore racist-incident based trauma.
